We welcome new patients to Buckland Hills Dental and aim to make them feel as comfortable as possible during their first visit with us. We want you to know that you’ll be met with friendly and experienced staff members that will prioritize your care and comfort from the moment you step through the door. Your First Dental Visit

Initial appointments with patients typically run about one hour. If you haven’t completed new patient paperwork from a text message we’ll send out before your first visit, then we’ll have you start with that. If you have extensive medical history or take many medications, bring your medication list to your appointment so we can be informed about your care. You’ll meet the doctor and your dental hygienist, and we’ll do some X-rays. If you recently had X-rays taken at your former dental office, we highly recommend bringing them or having your previous dental office send them over. We’ll then provide a full exam and cleaning as well as a comprehensive treatment plan. We’ll focus on patient emergencies and immediate dental care before prioritizing any full treatment planning.

Our Invisalign®-certified dentist can also provide you with clear aligners to help you achieve the straighter smile you’ve always wanted. We provide a package to our patients that includes one retainer at the end of Invisalign® treatments, included in treatment cost.
