Meet the Doctors


Dr. Sueyoung Chi

Dentist

Dr. Sueyoung Chi is originally from South Korea. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Minnesota in 2004, where she received a B.S. in Chemistry, and graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2009. 


After dental school, Dr. Chi finished a one-year GPR residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. Since the hospital had an oral surgery program, she had the opportunity to perform many implant restorations including overdentures, and she gained extensive experience with difficult pediatric patients.


Dr. Chi is also trained and certified in implant dentistry, and an active member of American Dental Implant Association. She is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA), the Hartford Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).


As part of her commitment to excellence in dentistry, Dr. Chi has taken continuing education courses in implants, orthodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Chi is married with three children. She moved to Connecticut in 2010.


Dr. Byeongjik Kim

Dentist

Byeongjik Kim, DDS, MS, is a general dentist who values the relationships he builds with his patients. He continuously strives to educate himself and expand his dental knowledge in order to help a variety of patients. His goal is to make everyone’s dental visits positive through his caring and compassionate attitude.


Dr. Kim received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of Michigan. He continued his education from Eastern Michigan University, earning a Master of Science. His dental training was obtained at Touro College of Dental Medicine in New York, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery. 


Outside of Dentistry, Dr. Kim loves spending time with his wife and two cats. He also enjoys playing sports and working out. His long-term goal is to lift 500 kg for the Big 3 workout! He is bi-lingual, speaking both English and Korean.
